AMEN! Jim, you took the words right out of my mouth - all of them. I, too, enjoy the off-topic discussions although I prefer they not degenerate into name-calling. But as I told Bob-CH and Armand in a private email today, freedom of speech means you have to take the bad with the good.
And for heaven's sake, I believe if someone gets offended by a posting they should say so - BUT - they should say it politely! That keeps the discussion lively and interesting.
Now, I think I'll go check out the current flame war - seems there's a chauvinist on the Forum who might need more instruction. (evil grin!)
